Otomen episode 4 summary
Tonomine is climbing very fast on my favorite character chart! He is so serious yet so funny! Kimura Ryo is great choice for actor!
We open to see Asuka and Tachibana on the school roof! Asuka is sewing and Tachibana is convincing Asuka to ask Ryo to go with him on the beach!
Asuka imagination:
Ryo and him on the beach, running and playing Catch me, then sitting on the sand and he is all manly telling her story about wild dolphins and
fated lovers and she is totally girly with smiles and everything! Oh God!
Tachibana returns him in reality and Asuka is so embarrassed that he runs away! Like a girl! He! And Tachibana sees sewed two dolphins with two
hearts on his sweater! Lol!
Masamune Mom, Yumeko-sensei and Tonomine are in the school! Mom wants to talk with Tonomine why is he transfering but Yumeko-senseis' phone
keeps ringing and she answers and tells her friend and niece that she is free to talk till she crosses her eyes with Moms' laser look! Tonomine
finaly tells Mom that Asukas' swordsmanship brought him to school! That pleases Mom and she asks him to be good friends with Asuka! Tonomines'
and Moms' facial expresions while Yumeko speeks to her niece is PRICELESS!
Guys in classroom ask Isono what he knows about transfer student and he tells: he is like rotten tangerine and not good at kendo! He says that
Tonomine has Ichi(one) in his name but is not best at anything! Btw Hajime, Tonomines' name, means first, best! As it is, Tonomine is standing
right behind Isono! He looks like he will crush Isono with his eye balls!
Yumeko-sensei praises Tonomines manly writing and his second place in All Japan Kendo Competition! Of course everybody attack Isono for his lies!
But Yumeko tells them to ask what they want to Tonomine! When asked why is he here he answers: To defeat Masamune Asuka-kun! Oooo!!!
Tachibana meets Tonomine on hallway and starts to talk but Tonomine just passes by! But he meets Gardener Kitora and when Kitora shows him
hibiscus in bloom and invites him to see flowers, Tonomine politely says he will come and you can see he means it! Kitora asks him is he really
here to defeat Asuka!
Tonomine: I think that without him i'm lost!
On kendo training Tonomine asks Asuka to fight him! They fight and Tonomine is very good but Asuka is better and he wins! Tonomine quietly bows
and turns to go but Miyakozuka Dad stops him and tells him that the technique is his best but but he doesn't control his feelings!
At the end of the classes Ariake runs in begging Asuka to come with him to the beach hut this weekend! His uncle is running it and they don't have
enough customers because of new hut next door! So he needs to bring a lot of hot guys to attract customers! Tachibana looks like kid who got lollipop
and starts to tell Asuka how it is on the beach and he cannot let Ariake down! But it is Ryo that tells they will surely come!
And they are on the bus to sea and all guys are surprised to know Tachibana has such cute sister Kuriko! Isono wants to give her a kiss but Big Bro
is not for it! Tonomine thought they are taking him on kendo training camp and find out when they are on the road, poor baby!
Thy come to run down 'Hostel and Beach Hut Mitsurigoto'! Nobody is trilled but when they meet Uncle he is so happy and it makes them smile! Till
they find out guys will have to act in play dressed as Samurai Power Rangers who commit harakiri in kids play! It gets worse when they meet their
director, scary around 7 years old kid who makes 2 guys crying in the corner and beats Isono, while screaming at him for not acting good enough!
That night Kuriko is taking the water downstairs and witnesses a scene: Asuka telling Tonomine- Suki da! She runs to her brother and misses Asuka
explaining Tonomine that he has hole(suki) in his defense! LOLOLOL!! Twist to all those dramas! Asuka then asks Tonomine if he feels like part of
the team but Tonomine is not here to play friends!
Tachibana first think that Kuriko is talking nonsense but remembers how Tonomine said that he is lost without Asuka! But Tachibana decides to check
everything with Asuka! Yes please! Thank you for being direct once more!
And on my utter pleasure we get this conversation!
Kuriko and Tachibana meet Asuka and ask him where is Tonomine, he answers but adds: To turn someones' feelings around is difficult isn't it? Tachibana
is cofused what that means but Asuka wants to ask him something!
Asuka: Is there any way i could get along with Tonomine?
He is using the word wich means to get along but sound as go out like on date! Tachibana is totally shocked but Asuka continues! Since he cannot tell
other guys cause it will make relationship with other members difficult(dude you are not helping yourself) and Tachibana is only one he can ask! Tachibana

Guys do their Samurai show and little director is finally satisfied! After they chat happily but go and Asuka and Tonomine stay alone! Asuka says he is happy that Tonomine is back in kendo but says he would wish Tonomine to be friends with other guys! Tonomine asks what is kendo for him! When Asuka says (it is way to overcome weakness) Tonomine reply that Asuka is perfect and cannot understand him who sacrificed something important for kendo! He says he abandoned kendo when defeated but seeing Asuka once more made him feel that he has rival and he wanted to fight! He apologizes for lame story and turns around but Asuka wants to know ehat he had to give up! Tonomne trows back his words that he is his own enemy so he wouldn't understand! Come, i will hug you Tonomine!
At fashion parlor model and fashion designer-make up artist are stuck in traffic so main guy says them to find someone! They first come to Orihada but when guy sees Ryo he practically begs her to come and forgets about Orihada! Kuriko tags along!
When girls come there are Asuka and Tonomine and both groups are surprised to see the other! No time to lose since they have awful clothes and assistant girls have no idea how to apply make up! Seriously!
Asuka steps up and gives few ideas so director whatever guy leaves it to him! He makes beautiful white dress with yellow and red details! Everyone is like WOWed with that! Asuka tells Tonomine that he sees him like perfect but there is no one like that! he confesses that he likes sewing, cooking and sparkly
and fluffy stuff! Then Tonomine comes forward and says he will give movement to her hair and wants blue and gold on her eyes because of the summer theme! He likes to do girls make up?! HAHAHA!!! And where to stand in line? Seriously, where?
Tachibana and Kuriko got that Tonomine is an Otomen as well and it is no BL! Asuka tells Tonomine that he is great and that brings little smile on Tonomines' face! Awww!
So event starts and everybody is left in ave by what is on Ryo! Asuka and Tonomine are presented as Fashion Samurai and go on stage in Samurai Rangers costumes! Love it!
Later they talk and Asuka says how this was fun and they had great time! Tonomine agrees and has big grin on his face! But then snaps out of it and tells Asuka that he will always be his enemy! He starts to go away but stops and repeat what Asuka said him about the gap! With a smile he sais: One day you will regret telling me that! Asuka smiles!
Great episode! of course we have to have at least one episode at sea so i'm glad it was like this! Tonomine kinda surprised me with his love for make up! I expected that he had some flaw but not like this! Don't get me wrong, it was good surprise since i thought it will be his strict father or something used all the time! Orihada is still genial! Tachibana is still so lovely direct! What other can i ask for?
