There is only one reason to watch Magical Ring and this reason is: Joe Cheng.
Joe Cheng in low-slung jeans with a crushed t-.shirt on, black pants and white shirt, black pants, black shirt, black jacket ... and so on and on and on ...

Never mind the OTP, it was the most far fetched love story I have come across so far - sooo not buying it.

Mmmm. Just thinking about it makes me swoony. Whoever the designer for this was, he has my undying thanks. Maybe they should get it for ISWAK 2 (which I cannot wait for!)

I mean, the boy is always drool-worthy, whatever clothes they give him, but here they actually gave him clothes that accentuated the HOT.

Never mind the OTP, it was the most far fetched love story I have come across so far - sooo not buying it.Whoa, that bad? I do find the actress rather annoying (no wonder I haven't seen her in anything else). Also, her character isn't a likeable off-kilter spunky girl (like Shen Shen in Silence or even, to use another JC drama, Ariel Lin in ISWAK) though that is what they were going for. She is just annoying. So far I am all 'you have a combative and emotionally messed up relationship with your dad already, why would you want that for an OTP ( ... )

:D Yep I also thought he needed a nicer OTP. After all, this woman is not nice, she doesn't look nice (not even cute even though they tried out the cuteness factor), he suspects her throughout (and is right goddammit) ... the whole story is just so bad. And for good measure they put the *she is my sister-(in-law)* Angst in it as well which was totally unneccessary. I just wanted to pick the boy up and shake him real well, telling him: This is not happening. *sigh*

Oh, and that icon is to die for. Who is it and where is it from?
That, of course, is Kimura Takuya as Ito in Gift. I'm still looking for that drama. But atm I'm quite happy with Chuushingura and Oda Nabunaga (both Samurai dramas).

Maybe it's karma for being cold hearted in ISWAK (except ISWAK came after). :)

The fact that she stays on even after she remembers who she is, and is utilizing the riches to the max, just puts me off her, espeically when she has the nerve to get offended when JC's character 'accuses' (except he is right) of her just staying for the money ( ... )

Anyway, I agree with you. The heroine is not likeable at all, she is not feisty, ditzy or cute. She is just a manipulating, money-grabbing bitch who was stupid enough not to use contraception (and I still suspect she got pregnant to keep her boyfriend in line). She is detestable.
