Because this comm is a bit quiet and also defective in the twdrama love department, I'm here to pimp Show Luo (*heart pops out*) and Rainie Yang's currently airing drama Hi My Sweetheart (Hai Pai Tian Xin). I watched the first ep yesterday and it is hilarious.

The plot is thus: Xue Hai is a sheltered rich boy; his parents passed away and left him to an overly protective Da Jie (eldest sister). Now he's finally off to college and FREEDOM! Or so he thinks, because Da Jie is all 'I'll just take you to the airport'... 'I'll just take you to the college'... 'I'll just take you to your dorm...' She's also afraid of kidnappers and golddiggers so she signs him up under a fake name, Lin Da Lung (he fanboys Pink Panther. Da Lung. Da Lung. Da Lung Da Lung Da Lung Da Lung Da Luuuuuuuuung. See?). Then there's Bao Chu, an angrygurl rock chick with awesome hair and, thankfully, no stupid voice. She's feared, given a wide birth, not given much of a damn about by her classmates. So when this geeky weirdo with a hero complex keeps trying to ~save her~ even though she can kick his and everybody else's ass and she ends up having to save him... Dramawiki tells us they fall in love, have a misunderstanding, separate, x years later and he's turned into a badass BAMF who wants revenge. I drool already. And then there is Lee Wei, who is the new Kingone.

Rainie permits him to sit on the edge of the chair reserved for her foot, and punishes him for daring to look behind him. He's like =(
He asks his adorable new friends, his 2 hysterical roommates, about the scary girl. They look fearfully to the side. This is his '...she's coming, isn't she' face.
SHE COMES. People run screaming.

Da Lung also has a potential thang going on with the School Beauty, Mo Lee, who is very nice to him for no apparent reason. She ~dazzles him~
But he thinks him and Bao Chu could be awesome BFFs because when she was little, SHE, TOO, USED TO WATCH PINK PANTHER!!!11!1! Although that doesn't stop her from mocking his (what else?) Pink Panther undiepants:

That's what he thinks is his just-been-violated bedhead. Note him clutching the towel to protect his modesty. I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. The wig, of course, is the real star of the show; I keep getting distracted because it keeps propping up from the side or sticking up or being ~smooth and shiny~ and in one of his fantasies Taiwanese people apparently have so very much, he had a comb hanging in it, gangsta style. ROFL.
And guys, it's not in the realm of annoyingly OTT Taiwanese drama, despite that awesome up there, it seriously isn't! It's hysterical, without being painful or annoying *coughmissnogoodcough*. Already awww moments and the opening creds made me die in anticipation. AWESOME SHIT TO COME, PEOPLE. Also, ~kissing~.
