Ha, I actually remember getting a Yon-sama crazy friend a giant poster of that bathroom picture a few years ago. It cost like $80 and was sold only at the grocery store. :P I also got her a mug that whenever you poured water out, you could hear BYJ's voice say: "I love you." XD

The poster is so expensive *jaw drops* I've only recently become a BYJ fan because I love The Legend so much. It's so different to any drama I've seen before.

LOL. Wonder if the voice is BYJ's real voice. Probably not :D Who is your Yon-sama crazy friend? Perhaps I can friend her since I'm so crazy about BYJ myself nowadays XD

Actually, she's not on LJ, she was from my adult English class and taught me Japanese while I lived in Japan. I'm sure she's probably watched The Legend now. ;)

It really is his voice! It's a clip from Winter Sonata which started the Yonfluenza in Japan. Reporters were making fun of the mug on a news site so I ordered it. XD Here's more on the mug: http://www.thenoiseboard.com/index.php?showtopic=75047

And if you're interested, I took some pics of a few Yon-sama snow sculptures at the end of this post: http://cheesemon.livejournal.com/55781.html

LOL. Oh my, his real voice, huh. That's nice, if I had that mug on a blue day then I'd be cheered up instantly XD The cup cost Y5,000 huh. As much as I adore BYJ, I rather buy myself a nice blazer with that amount of money (^o^)

I actually got the cup for a "steal" at 2000yen-ish on Yahoo Auctions. ^_^

Re: Other comment, you should definitely check out the Fuyu Matsuri next time you're in Japan . . it's the one thing in Japan EVERYONE needs to see! And I'd give Winter Sonata a try, it's inadvertently hilarious! I dunno, for me, it's not hard to see past an actor/actress if the story's good. I hate Yamapi but I still loved Dragonzakura and sorta loved Nobuta. :)

Winter Sonata? Hilarious? Really? My image is that it's a sad, sappy drama that'd make be bawl my eyes out. I'm also not too fond of Choi Ji Woo, though I think a lot of people would hit me with tomatoes if they hear that :D

I hate Yamapi but I still loved Dragonzakura and sorta loved Nobuta. :)I like Yamapi okay but I don't find him or his acting super appealing, like a lot of others do. I haven't watched Dragonzakura (though I plan to, since it looks cracktastic), but I did adore Nobuta wo Produce. The plot and the twists were interesting, and what I find most beautiful is the friendship ( ... )
