A very long My Girl rant
I just discovered the K-drama called My Girl like, last week? YES I KNOW, SOMEBODY SHOOT ME PLEASE.
I don't know why it took me so long to discover this absolutely, freakingly nice show! I think maybe because I was way too obsessed with Goong... But anyway, back to the point! The local channel in my country started showing My Girl every weekend for 2 hours since last week and I got hooked ever since! It got me laughing so hard since the starting of the first episode and of course, Lee Dong Wook is absofreakingly hawt! (i'm trying my best here not to swear heh )
To be honest, when I first watched the show, it kinda didn't appealed to me 'cause the lead actress(whose name I've forgotten for now), lies so much - it was like lying was part of her daily necessity! And I was like thinking how could this guy even like her? She lies so much! But thank god they're showing the show for 2 hours every weekend so I came to like love the story :D
I have to say, my favourite part of the drama so far was when they thought his grandfather had died and Lee Dong Wook cried, and Yoo-Rin pointed out the machine will be beeping a flat line if he had died, but it wasn't. He just fell asleep! I laughed so, so, so hard after that! I didn't even think about the life machine! Man.. I love the scriptwriter. Hahaha. Oh and also! I kinda like how some scenes reminded me of Witch Yoo Hee and Goong. How Yoo-Rin put her hand over her head to say "I Love You!" Very Witch Yoo Hee. Hehe okay sorry random!
Today's episode ended with Lee Dong Wook patching up with his tennis girlfriend (grrrrrrrrr) and Yoo Rin finally falling for him. I think the next episode will be the starting of some weepy episodes. Haha so please! No spoiler comments please! ='[
And, I have to admit this though, My Girl is definitely better than Goong. I feel so hypocritical! Haha. I can't wait to buy My Girl and The Devil DVD and have both marathon at the same time!
