Of all the dramas out there, Korean ones are my favorite kind. Whether it's the amazing production values, tall and masculine hotties (often with swords), adorable heroines, or just the total cracktastic emo, I don't know. But kdramas rock.
But which are my favorite kdramas? And why? Here is a Top 10 list, with reasons, vids, and pics. Note: no

7. Goong - was amazing. I think there are a few stories who try to do that sort of scenario, the not the smartest but charismatic girl and icy boy. Most of them fail, big time (i'm sorry, but that's why I love/hatehate ISWAK, they fail at it). Here she's not weak, sure she has her moments but I think they're definitely more genuine, she's not made of steel. Yet we see her be strong and trying to keep positive through tough times. The male is icy because of a good reason. He doesn't exactly have the loving hugging sort of parents. He's been raised to be professional. You'd think with this that Goong would by my top (it's prolly 3rd), but the draggyness and the fact that it was less comedic puts it at 3rd...although when I rewatch that damn awesome kiss, I debate this 3rd.
8. Coffee Prince - I was wondering how this would turn out, since the whole girl mistaken for boy (purposefully or not) is not always best (I'm sorry Ella, but stop making bad orgasm faces). But in this is was great, she was very boyish, never having to be anyone but herself. And I love the fact that he end up loving her even as a him, because it does show that whether she is girl or boy, he's in love with that person. Yeah, it was kind of dragged, but it's cute. And it totally pwns the kiss in Goong, I was like 'dayum, hotness!!!'
9. Full House - this is prolly the one I would disagree with most. I thought it was cheesy and annoying. I think Rain's character was way too indecisive, and usually that's fine, but it was way into the drama. I understand that you don't just change feelings but he was also kind of annoying as himself...you can't really have both cause then I'm just waaay too annoyed. The girl character I just found to be bleh. Oh look she kind of sucks at writing, blah blah, gets better, blah blah, falls in love with guy that currently has very heavy feelings for some undeserving girl, blah blah blah...sorry, I don't mean to insult you for liking this. It just happened to hit the wrong note (I think because i watched it after My Girl, and it can't compare).
10. Damo - I've been wanting to see this one. Was it you who wrote a review on this, but somehow I never got around to it.
10. SHIB - ...this drama is just what I hate about kdramas. It's way too much for me...but I still might watch it, because there is a hispanic telenovela part in me that wants to watch these kind of 'trainwrecks' and despair, and stuff. The whole darker kind of Hanadan makes me scared of it yet totally craving to see.
Sorry for the long long comment ( I really only just realized how long it was, honto gomennasai), but I ♥ you, this is an awesome post with awesome awesome kdramas. It's a nice list (even with the ones I don't like, lol).

7. Yes, he does have parents from hell. His father is one of my least favorite parental figures ever. I remember posting on my lj when I first watched it, my repeated desire to have a go with a bat at him. With nails in it.
9. Ehh, I don't mind :) I mean, things either work for you or do not. After all, I dislike Kim Sam Soon, and it's one of the most liked dramas out there.
10. Bali: I love it, but it IS very melodramaish. These things either work or make you want to kill something. I used ff button liberally on non Jo In Sug parts, but all those bits made up for it.
