up-and-coming dramas for the summer season
since the spring dramas have ended, the next batch of awesome dramas are upon me.
i going to be watching just as many ongoing dramas again. i will be following Yoon Eun Hye's new drama since The Vineyard Man, Coffee Prince.
most of the ones i'll be watching will jdramas though. so first off, of course i will be watching Oguri Shun's new drama, Hanazakari no Kimitachi e. i think it may be the next biggest jdrama since HYD2 ended. i'll also be watching Matsuda Shota's new one, Jotei.
but i think what i'm most excited about is Inoue Mao's upcoming drama First Kiss.

In this romantic comedy, Mao Inoue stars as a selfish girl named Mio Fukunaga. Because of a serious illness, she lives in the U.S. for medical treatment. Before undergoing an important operation, she returns to Japan, where she meets the older brother she has been separated from since her parents' divorce. She finds Kazuki (Hideaki Ito) leading a good-for-nothing life, but he shows his seriousness when he resolves to find a way for Mio to experience her first kiss. Yuta Hiraoka plays the love interest, a rookie doctor.
what i'm most excited about for this one is seeing Inoue Mao and Hiraoka Yuta as love interests. they were both in the japanese movie Check it out, yo! (which i thought was totally hilarious and sweet), and Yuta's character had i one-sided love with Mao's character. now i get to see that pairing *squeels*

and while i'm at it, let me add that it seems as if Lily from jland will be subbing First Kiss =D which totally rocks cause her subs for Hanadan2 was more than awesome. anyways, i'm psyched for the new season of dramas to start!
***side note: did anyone notice that almost the whole main cast of Hanadan has dramas coming out. well, MatsuJun's drama finished in spring, but now Mao and Shun finally have another series out since Hanadan2, and Shota's coming out with his second since Hanadan. now all we have to wait for is Abe's drama, and that'll be everyone!
