New to dorama_chat, but not to the world of jdramas! I saw your rec on Karei-naru Ichizoku, which I have been dying to see for quite some time (basically ever since I heard about it), but my Japanese is incredibly weak to begin with, so I think this series is beyond me. Do you know of any plans for this to be subbed? I looked around, but can't find it subbed anywhere (and it's a Kimura Takuya drama for goodness sake!) Thanks!

Only soft subs are available but you can download them from
http://www.s-projects.org/ - registration is required but free.

And not be be a pest, but do you know of a place that has links to directly download the RAW episodes (like MU, sendspace, etc)? Torrents seem to take so much longer on my computer than downloading directly. If not, thanks for all the other help you've given me!

Not that I know of. I can upload the files split with HJsplit after rika_66 and I have finished timing and uploading of Gift which will take another 8 weeks at least if not more.
I *think* silentregrets.com got the permission to post the soft subs so I guess they will eventually upload the media files too.

I've been wondering about this show for awhile! The drama wiki entry wasn't too helpful and I didn't want to read too many spoilers. It definitely sounds interesting, and I think I need a break from romance dramas : )
And of course, Kimura Takuya is in it, so I'm expecting it to be beyond great! Thank you!
