Okay, I was stressed and annoyed, and
snegurochka_lee reminded me about the drabbling communities on lj, so I wrote these drabbles.
Title: Walk Right Past
Words: 100
Rating: G
Characters: Lupin
Written for
Lupin100 challenge 'charity'.
Lupin walked past the three homeless men by the side of the street without noticing. He ignored the man on the train begging for money, or a travelcard. He threw away the leaflets he had been handed and quickly shook his head at those trying to get him to fill in surveys. He’d been in London long enough that he didn’t see it
Once he’d tried to give them all money, time, or even a smile. But he didn’t have any left anymore, so he put his head down and tried to convince himself he wouldn’t end up like that.
Title: Remember
Words: 100
Rating: G, maybe PG
Characters: Marauders, James/Lily
Written for
hp100 challenge 'marauders'
James was obsessed with Lily and everyone teased him about it, his friends more then anyone else. No one expected it, though, when she agreed to go to Hogsmeade with him in their 7th year.
His friends were there to provide support in the form of cat-calls and lewd comments when the young couple walked into Madame Puddifoot’s together, but they were also there in the dark of the night to cheer when he said, ‘I think she likes me.’
But later they were dispersed and James did not have them with him but remembered that triumph as he died.
Title: Cleaning
Words: 100
Rating: G, vaguest PG possibilities.
Characters: Hermione/Ron, Lavender
Written for
hermione100 challenge odd jobs and previous encounters mainly, but there is love and even vaguely affairs!
Hermione scrubbed the oven. She normally did this with her wand; it was just more practical, yet she was angry it soothed her. So, she scrubbed and muttered to herself and generally acted like someone who was in a bad mood.
It should not annoy her so much that Ron had gone for a drink with Lavender. They were all older now, with a war behind them. As long as she forgot walking into the common room to see them she was fine.
And when Ron got home and complained about how dull the girl was, the oven was spotless.
This was good for stress relief despite being surprisingly up-beat and vanilla. I like the last one most, I think, but I'm a not-very closet Ron/Hermione shipper.
