(no subject)
Weekend moved along strangely.
I have been sick all week and limpy, I cut my knee open on asphalt a week or two ago and it hasn't heeled yet, that may have something to do with wearing nine inch platforms Swears to Vortex and subsequently going for a tumble on said knee ;?
Vortex was fun and trashy , mucho trashy .
Djed last night at Ascension at the Sly fox which was fun and very amusingly had a few types demanding a little too fervently when my next set was ( go home guys it's 230 am heheeh)
Many thanks to mr Matt ( Dj Kasdejah) for putting on the night and for letting me be a part of it .The other Djs were awsome and everyone was quite different in style which i always love.
Backtracking to Friday ; ended up unexpectedly at Neotokyo after an aborted attempt at going to a metal gig at the Metro.
Wanting to salvage the night i bought a ticket from a scalper out the front to see Gomez who were playing.I gave it a go for half an hour but i wasn't in the mood and they were boring so off to 77 i went.
The night was fun , supportive friends always make life easier ;)
The music was ok but could have had a little more variation in the latter half of the night , i enjoyed Dasein and Neotokyo's sets most.
"Strange Days" is on cable tonight , yay!
Its a bit crap but i love the Bladerunner references .
I will be djing at Blast Furnace on the 17th which is nice ;D
