Kerrrrrrrrrrn!!!!

Years ago I went on a road trip to visit family, and while heading back home on Hwy 20, through the barren area before you hit the mountains to get back through Lake County area, there were a series of signs,

, and one of the signs (not pictured cause I had past it before I started taking pictures) had corn mispelled just like the band, complete with backwards 'r'.

This morning I dreamt about the band Korn, and it involved going back through this location (and the weather looked the same, as if I was reliving the trip). In the dream I actually pulled over and stopped at the sign, and beneath it, it said ".50 cents a pop!"

I walked up, there was an old shingle roof that stretched over an outdoor stage, where all of the band members of Korn were posed in a tableau as if they were waiting to play a song. Their faces also looked a little strange, like they were wearing makeup to hide the fact that they were real, and were pretending to pose as wax sculptures or something. At ground level beside them was a dusty old jukebox with a dozen selections, all Korn songs. I didn't have change, but then a dusty old change machine suddenly appeared next to the jukebox with sparkles, like out of a 50's commercial. I turned on my camera to video, put in a few bucks, got quarters, and picked the song "Got the Life," which immediately, like some old music machine, began cranking back up to full speed and suddenly the band began to play the song, complete with clunky robotic movement and dust in the gears.

I rocked out to a few tunes and took some pictures, then shook my head in amazement and continued on my way back into the world of full consciousness.

Best dream I've had lately. Short, sweet, and it graced me with a nice mood to wake up in. Good ol' nostalgia, lolz and hooray!

korn, dream
