Men truly are from Mars

Well, I was all excited for tonight because Ryan called me and told me he was coming through town on the way home for Christmas break. He and I made plans to hang out a little bit and go to dinner, and he said he'd call right before he got into town. Welllll.....dinnertime came around, and he still hadn't called. I called him a couple of times, but got no answer. So he "stood me up", basically. I shouldn't be surprised, since he's done this to me before, but still....FREAKIN' CALL!!

Yeah, typical guy behavior. He was on his way back from Bloomington, IN, but I really think he was coming back from his home planet of Mars. He was probably also wearing his antennae while I was on the phone with him.

On the other hand, his ex-boyfriend graduated today. Even though they aren't on the greatest of terms right now, maybe he went to go visit him anyway. Who knows? Maybe I'm secretly a bit "lonely" since my social life has been pretty quiet from not being an undergrad anymore. I still have my friends, but with them not living in close proximity right now, well, that affects you some.

Oh, enough of my griping about life. It's the holidays. I should be happy. I love Christmas. I can't wait to go play Christmas bingo with the family next week. I can't wait to give and get presents. I can't wait to go out in the snow in my bathing suit......oh wait, that's my cousins. :)

I should go get some shut-eye. I have to go chase around the 18-month-olds at 8 tomorrow morning.

Buenas noches, y suena con los angelitos.
