Setting Stern Hall, 3rd floor, dry lab, earlier today
(Sherrie and Dr. Dohanich are inside the lab making small talk)
Amanda enters
(Phone rings across the hall)
Sherrie Is that me?
Dr. Dohanich I'm not sure, it may be me.
(Both move closer to the door to discern the locus of the ringing)
Sherrie Oh, drat! That's me. It's my husband, calling me again. *sighs*
Dr. Dohanich *laughs* And that is why you shouldn't have one.
Sherrie scoffs at Dr. Dohanich as she rushes to answer the phone.
(Dr. Dohanich and Amanda don lab coats, walk out of the room and start down the hall towards the vivarium)
Dr. Dohanich (Gesticulating at Amanda) You'd better remember that, too. Marriage is more trouble than it's worth.
Amanda Giggles, and is pleased to know she's not the only cynical scientist on the hall.
