Oh wow, I just realized that Jewlane is having finals on Hanukkah. That seems a little odd to me, since we get Yom Kippur as a holiday every year

Actually, that does not surprise me. Hannakah is not that big of a holiday. It's a minor one. Yom Kippur, Rosh Hashanah, etc are MAJOR BIGGIE holidays. Therefore, being open & having finals during Hannakah is not that big of a deal.
