Here are some excerps from Matts poem.
its three pages long im not writing the whole thing.
Somehow one day
Also known as May 23rd
Matt finally got the balls
to ask the one girl he did not deserve.
She replied yes, in a quivery way
Matt didn't seem to care
His only reply was "yey".
Matt and Jill went strong for 1 year and 1 month
Then for some unknown reason
matt pulled the plug
He broke little Jills hear, and he didnt know why
It semed as though drinking and partying
Were more important to that Matty guy...
He lived a life of regret
And let me tell you this is cretain
he thinks about it so much
He just hides behind the curtain.
As Matt watched Jill, get on with her life like she should
matt gets confused, perhaps he misunderstood
As he tries to do the same, he realises in defeat
There is no life good enough without Jill in the passenger seat.
About some time later, matt gets busted by his dad
Matt almost loses everything with his parents
The trust they always had
That night matt finally gets the wakeup call inside of his head
He makes one final decision as he falls asleep in his bed.
Now Matt must show Jill whats hes really made of
Unless its too late to get back his one and only true love?
As I close and end this poem, of two young cool kids
I have one more thing to say before I tighten the lid
Realize what you have now before its all gone
I learned a very important lesson these past months
A lesson I should have known all along
Love is a chance, one we all must take
Grab your love by the horns now, before its too late.
