Animal Aid
I went up to the Animal Shelter cos I was bored as all hell, and everyone I know was busy. Lynn said it was good to see me, regardless of the fact that I am not able to help out yet because I havent done my OH&S run through. She understands my situation, so shje knew it was good that I was out of the house. I met a couple of the other volunteers, and feed a couple of cats...
They also have ferrets, rabbits and of all things a galah. The galah is a gorgeous thing, that apparently took a liking to me. The others got a "Hello". I got "Hello Darling" and it jumped onto my shoulder, had its face right next to mine and said "Kiss Kiss". Whoa, look out Wends you have some competition on your hands!
I think the experience will do me good once I start volunteering there...
