weekend...
Thus far I have had a fabulous weekend. Although last week I was quite ill, I managed to perk up for Friday nights games night. Plenty of pizza, good friends, and good laughs, til the wee hours of the morning. In all there was, us 3 hoes, G&T, K&M, S&L, and Jac and Chrispy, our two token breeders. Chrispy amazes me with his ability to fit in with the crowd, and not let the whole being surrounded by lesbians thing affect who he is. He is a genuinely sweet young man. Later in the evening, Nathan arrived, as did Nicole, our 'seen each other out and about, but never met properly' local lesbian. S&L left at this stage... PIKERS :P We went on to play charades, which was actually quite funny, especially watching some of the cruder titles trying to be portrayed. There was a mass exodus when Chripsy left,K&M took Nathan home, followed by Jac heading home also. Andy went to bed not long after, but I was proud of how long he had survived, especially considering how bad his head cold was. This left 5 of us just chatting and getting to know each other, which was excellent. Nicole is so sweet. We are looking forward to hopefully getting to know her better.
G&T ended up staying over, which was good because it gave us the chance to meet T properly. Nice girl, funny and very DTE. Obviously cares deeply about Gems as well, which is a definite bonus. Cute couple. We all sat around in our pyjamas until 5 in the afternoon, until I realised that the 21st we had was earlier than I had thought.
We all showered quickly in sucession, due to the fact that the ensuite shower does not get good water pressure, and so having two showers running at once would prove futile. We hurried out to the party, convinced that it would probably just be the 4 of us sitting together all night.
We ended up sitting with the hockey girls, and we were all laughing and chatting. They were all very accepting of us being gay, (which I knew), but especially so when we continued jokes about it, even calling one of them a lesbian, and confusing the oh-so-blonde one numerous times. Lara, whose birthday it was, seemed somewhat stressed, and not overtly excited. I hope that it kicks in over the next couple of days for her.
We came home and messaged Nicole, and she bought her gf Cassie over. We watched a movie, and then it was 2:30am so they left. G,T, W and I stayed up chatting before finally calling it a night around 3:30.
Overall I have had a fantastic weekend, and am now looking forward to spending some time doing my own thing, whilst W watches a movie.
