(no subject)
Making this entry from work ~ yay!
It's only the second day so it's a little hard to judge this position. But....I am getting the feeling it's going to be a whole lot of nothing much for the first few weeks. The semester just started so all the other Staff are very busy getting all the faculty settled and happy. They don't really have time to pay attention to me. Any work they would give me would have to be explained and they just don't have the time to sit and deal with that right now. So I am just keeping alert and trying to watch how things flow around here. Interesting times. I have not seen this many Asians since I left San Francisco. 0___o
My mother has left on a trip and my father is in Wisconsin (don't ask, lol) for business, so that leaves me to play 'Parental Unit' to my younger siblings for the week. Comnig home from Washington, D.C. in heavy rush hour traffic and worrying about what to feed someone, if their homework is done, oh my god do they need laundry?!, etc.... NO FUN. >___< My siblings have been pretty well behaved so far though, so maybe this week won't be so bad.
