my very first GIP
*sniff* i'm so proud.
i can tell i'm going to have to get my thing together and pay for this journal, just so i can have more room for icons. i'm not very good at making them yet, but i've got the drive, man, i've got the determination to learn and grow and ... and make a whole bunch of icons! yeah! i mean, heck, i've got enough random pictures on my hard drive. might as well put 'em to some use.
and i suppose this isn't entirely gratuitous, as i am about to go to sleep. not working quite so early tomorrow, but it's still gonna be a loooong shift. hmm. maybe i'll bring a book. bruce lent me her copy of 'coraline,' and i'm probably better off reading that in the daylight. that and 'the vor game' should last me six hours in the corral. i did two crossword puzzles today, one of which was nigh on impossible (do you know who 'south african golfer ernie' is?), and stocked gum for a bit, and that was only a three hour shift. *sigh* okay, sleep, then work, then camping! i am looking forward to it, even if it means i can't begin my epic tape-dubbing project until next week. i'm not so obsessed that i can't appreciate a good dose of the outdoors. really, i'm not.
