procrastinatory update #1
the scene: pam is typing away on edward. bee is seated on the couch, peeling a mandarin orange and staring apathetically at her notebook. pam pauses in her typing.
pam: you haven't written anything yet, have you?
bee: not as such. i have eaten several oranges though. that's almost as good. pause no, wait, it's not.
see, i'm writing this paper for my british modernism class. "writing." as in, i've got a page of scribbled notes comparing the love song of j. alfred prufrock to one of the stories from Dubliners, but i don't really have a coherent argument or clear outline or... anything, really. but i'll be writing 8-10 pages of something tonight.
grar. it doesn't have to be art, it just has to be done. this will be my motto for the rest of the quarter. inspiring, no?
