so, we've been reading all these elizabethan tragedies for english 150, and there's some pretty interesting language in there. but the best word that keeps coming up and never fails to amuse me has got to be bootless. they gloss it as 'futile, fruitless' and you know, i really agree. because what's the point of living if you don't have boots?
