Day 23, July 10
Woke up early, had breakfast, and boarded our little boat which took us to a sail boat for the day's excursion by ten am. We sailed all around the island, seeing he scenery. I rode on the bow, up as high as I could be and sat with my feet off the edge of the boat, feeling the water splashing, keeping my upper body shaded from the sun, but allowing my feet to warm. We stopped about an hour in in a nice location where we could swim. The water was about 23ft, but you could see clear to the bottom like it was a blue swimming pool. It was AMAZING. We swam around for about 45 minutes, and one girl stepped on an urchin, unfortunately. Thank goodness it wasn't poisonous. A lot of people spent time picking the spines out of her foot. After the incident though we all got back in the water (this time not going to shore) and used the boat as a jumping board. We got on the boat and jumped off over and over. Some people even jumped from the top deck (very high). After a while we all came back on and had our picnic lunch of sandwiches, chips, tzatziki, and fruit. After lunch we sailed off again to another swimming spoor off of a beach where many other board were sitting, we had twenty minutes to swim around, and we took some fun underwater pictures. The water was even more clear her than before if that's possible, and the pictures came out perfect, like in a pool. We boarded back on and finally sailed back to the hotel, arriving by 2:30.
After this we were all wiped out, so I went to my room, ate leftovers from Matina’s, and napped. Sent the remainder of the day, till dinner, just relaxing and doing my own thing. After dinner thou, it was the to a party. I dressed up and hug. O with people for a bit, but didn't go to the actual party because things were too crazy and alcohol fueled for me.
