Life is good
There is so much amazing TV on right now, I simply had to come on here and make a post, because I guess I have this need to share with people, and my roommates are sweet but don't really care about TV, and I know you guys do!
After that rambling run-on sentence, here's a list of the excellent series that are going on right now before the American fall TV season begins in earnest:
1. Doctor Who - Series 7 appears to be a stunning return to form, good job Moffatt!
2. QI - Stephen Fry saying the word jizz approximately 100 times is somehow one of the sexiest things ever.
3. Downton Abbey - Owner of my third favorite opening credits music (after Game of Thrones and Doctor Who, natch).
4. Boardwalk Empire - Haven't watched this yet, but I'm squirming in anticipation to see the fallout from last season.
5. World Without End - Charlotte Riley, Cynthia Nixon, and Indira Varma being fierce in 14th century England? Yes please!
Honorable mentions: Leverage, Parade's End.

Oh! I moved, you guys! I'm not living in China anymore, now I'm back in New York City woohoo!!!
I'm absolutely enamored with my new place, I have my own room and bathroom, and the living room and kitchen are huge and lovely and open. I'm paying a fair amount, as one might guess from my Manhattan location, but the place is so gorgeous and convenient I don't even care. I'm living with two sisters who share a room and they are wonderful roommates. Yesterday we went to the Greenflea Market and bought a lovely cedar-lined chest for the living room. It doesn't quite fit yet, but we're working on a rearrangement of the living room.
