Still haven't managed to qualify for No Doubt/Blink concert. I have not given up, though.
Yesterday I was scanning through the radio and I heard Damien Rice's "Cannonball" coming through my car speakers. I was suprised that they were getting radio play. And then that New Year song by Death Cab for Cutie came on. and then "Seven Nation Army". I was astounded to find a radio station with such decent music playing.
And then I remembered where I live.
A place where the radio isn't dominated by Evanescence and Britney Spears and Good Charlotte and Jet. (ew)
I also found a radio station that is ALL 80's, ALL THE TIME!!!
I'm in heaven.
