I had interesting customers at work today.
Some guy came through who is on some kind of committee or something for Destin Commons and he was telling me how Hard Rock Cafe isn't going to put a restaurant there anymore because they weren't happy with the number of people shopping in the Commons. And they didn't think they'd make much money here. Hmmm...maybe they'll change their mind in the summer where this town is flooded with tourists who have lots of money to throw away.
This one guy who comes through every morning gave me his phone number.
I mean, of course, since I'm moving in 2 weeks.
Tiffy said I'm making a bigger deal out of moving than it really is. "It's not like you're moving to Canada." I'll be close enough to come visit a least every few months, and some of my friends I really don't see more often then that anyway, but I guess it's just the whole "you don't know what you've got until it's gone" thing.
Anyway, I'm getting very excited about moving as the day is getting closer.
