the final stretch...
monday the 15th...that means two weeks from tomorrow i will be on a plane back to reality and all my friends and family. i cant wait to see everyone and be back in a place i call home, but i will certainly miss paris. this weekend was positively incredible! shopping in montmartre, lunch at the Amelie café, royal treatment on a ritzy boat restaurant, two slumber parties in a row!, a naked man providing us a free show on the street at 1 in the morning, and tons of food from the most incredible vending machine ever!
this city is incredible and the weather is like october which is so comforting and makes me excited for fall in the real october!
im going to chartres this weekend on our last excursion which should be fun and im hoping to do a lot of touristy things this week that i havent done yet and must do before i leave!
hopefully these next two weeks will be busy and will go by quickly enough so i dont ponder my anticipation to return to the states, because i think about it a lot as it is and i want to make sure i have exciting memories of my last two weeks here instead of spending them homesick and achnig to leave.
