AN:: I had to get this out there because I hate how people get hung up over stuff that shouldn't matter. Just like this, which I'm sure, just like last week with the Mark/Callie friend thinger, someone freaked... lol
The Past, is Past.
“Are you going to ask?” Callie finally asked, after minutes of just staring at Arizona, waiting for her to say something.
Arizona’s only reaction was to tilt her head in question, opting to finish writing in her patient’s chart, “Ask what?” She said after realizing Callie actually wanted her to say something.
Great, she was playing it like nothing happened. Never good.
Callie pouted, not wanting to screw this up more than it probably was, “Arizona…”
“Calliope, I have no idea what you’re trying to get out of me.”
“You know, that thing, with Karev.”
Arizona laughed, “Calliope,” The blond scribbled one last word before fully facing her girlfriend, “When did it happen?”
“Like five or six years ago, but-”
“Exactly.”
“Huh?”
“Five or six YEARS ago, Calliope. Years.” Arizona put her chart away and reached for another, “I didn’t even think I’d be in Seattle six years ago, I’m sure you don’t care to know who I was dating or screwing around with six years ago.” She giggled as she shook her head, “In case you’ve suddenly forgotten, you were with Mark some weeks before we started seeing each other. I didn’t have a problem with it then, I don’t have a problem with it now. I let him in our bed for pete’s sake!”
Callie pouted again, thinking she had even more to apologize for. “Arizon-”
“Calliope, it’s in the past, where it belongs. That and Karev’s a bit of a man-whore, just like Mark. The only difference is they couldn’t keep you. I can and I will.” Arizona turned to face Callie again, this time kissing her softly on the mouth, “Besides, Karev’s on my service, I get to make him think I’m angry.”
Callie let out a relieved breath as her girlfriend heely-ed away, crisis averted.
