I run that line through my head all the time yet I move no closer to actually achieving it. I have set goals for myself...Finishing the songs I know only half of...Learning some Smashing Pumpkins through sheet music...Mastering Gethsemane by learning to play by ear. I figure if I set these landmarks for myself I can actually call myself a pianist.
It'd be nice to be good at something...
Then I need to figure out a way to have a piano magically appear while I'm among some great musicians that are looking for a keyboardist so I could woo them with my newly developed skills.
Ahh...Is everyone even remotely as pathetic as I am...
And I'll be down south All Wed and Thurs and I want to SEE PEOPLE!!! Please, I'll be having to deal with my mom on painkillers. I need some drunken morale support
