so this is what comes of working far to many back to back shifts whilst battling the effects of the delirious cruelty insomnia has been bitch slapping me with for months now
well...Feb's actually been a pretty exciting month so far and it just keeps gettin' better...on that note
I attempted to make my first post on here a bit of promo for the place that has become my second home but as my header states..."it never fails"
I f*d it up...the images are too small...I've apparently forgotten how to do anything on here...at any rate, they're ads for the next two saturdays
MIKADO'S AFTER DARK
last Saturday saw the return of Rev Fester to the booth and it was amazing...our best night ever...the bar was pretty packed and he kept people on the dance floor all night...the music went late and fun was had by all...hope to have him back again
Saturday Feb. 16 welcomes back DJ Vyraes to infect you with his grinding beats and contagious rhythm...he ripped shit up last time and can't wait to get you all back under his decadent spell..prepare to move
Saturday Feb 23 special guest DJ arc of DYM (Noitekk recording artist) will take over the space to give us a taste of the Toronto vibe...this one is NOT to be missed...anyone who's ever caught one of his sets at Savage, Neutral or any of the other clubs or events he's invaded knows standing still is not an option when the cyborg takes over..."resistance is futile"...we'll be taking pics and vids this night to be used in upcoming promos for MAD so polish up the vinyl and dig those boots outta the closet
I'll set up a MAD LJ soon to keep everyone up to date and in touch but until then there's a Mikado's After Dark group on facebook...I know, I know...not all of you have or ever want to have anything to do with facecrack...just lettin' y'all know it's there if you're interested
