I Tried!

Seeing as how it's the first official day of Spring and the mood is supposed to be that or light and optimism I tried really hard to keep this in and just let it pass by... but my grandma raised me right and I just bloody well CAN'T!!! Fuck! Maybe I should have gotten into politics like she wanted me too... so here goes:

infrastructure...INFRASTRUCTURE!!!!! ARE THEY FUCKING MAD?!?!?!

I'm not going to delve in the details of the situation, I could write chapters on what's wrong with the whole thing... anyone who has been following the great mud-slingings that have gone on over the last few days between our Federal and Provincial governments knows what I'm on about.

What I will say is this:

Yesterday-
The Harper government has allocated the provincial funds, in a nutshell, not enough set aside for education, nowhere near enough set aside health care, child care wasn't even mentioned and it looks like Toronto's on it's own with that York line (btw, Miller was once again basically scoffed at for the "penny" proposal), and why is it that Quebec received more funding for education then us? As one Liberal mentioned, and I agree, they're just buying separatist votes in a scramble before the next election.

Today-
Dalton actually came though with something: that's right... the minimum wage increse to $10.25 Although one NDP brought up the valid point that it should be NOW and not a gradual increase over the next 3 years, c'mon folks, at least it's happening! All I have to say on this topic: Tim Hudak needs to be SHOT! soon!.. this is the tit who had the audacity to proclaim "I think this proposal was written up on the back of a napkin" okay, granted the details weren't ironed out at the time of it's inception but for fuck sake, these things take time and at least little Dalton got the ball rolling for something the NDP government has been toiling away at like pushing a boulder up a hill for years now... a reporter was quick to site that Hudak's monthly salary amounts to more than what someone on minimum wage makes in a year

In summation, as Jack Leighton decreed in a press conference, since Harper, the Federal PC's have been governing over Ontario without any regard for it's working class, which still makes up a majority of it's population. Somethings off here people.

So think! Get pissed! Shake off the snow and get fired up! There WILL be an election soon kids, let's start getting down to the root of the problems and NOT have vote "by default" this time around!
