Oh, so THAT'S what this looks like...
You know, it's funny. If there was one thing that I didn't expect to carry out of highschool it was the long-standing tradition of break up weeks. We all remember them. Usually a few weeks before Valentine's Day, or right as summer starts, a bunch of couples unexpectedly break up without much of a precursor at all. And no one knows why. Do the girls in question suddenly all get their period on the same day? Does the change of seasons do it? Or (in the case of Valentine's Day) is it a result of being broke or cheap? In the past week, five couples that I know have broken up. FIVE. That's kind of ridiculous, if you ask me. I've never been a victim of break up week, have you? Discuss.
Originally, I was going to write an article for you guys called 'Terrorgasm: Fear and the Male Ejaculation', but it became less of a humorous, informative article, and more like a term paper so I scrapped the idea. The whole thing was about how the only thing I've learned so far in college was that in extreme cases of fear, men ejaculate. So what does that say about men?
Also, to completely move away from the original topic, I was thinking about something today while I was on the LCCC website. If I ever did graphic design for a college website I would fill it with absolutely ridiculous pictures that in no way could possibly be a part of normal campus life, and then write fake testimonials that make it seem like they are. Like pictures of a bunch of kids in a chem lab, right about to pour a test tube filled with flaming liquid on to their lab partner's bare arm. Or people chasing after a guy dressed in a shark mascot costume. Or a shot of one of the campus greens, in which everyone is dressed in period costume but no explanation is given as to why. I think that I'd garner a lot of new students or at least get people to go on campus tours just to get the WTF look off of their faces.
