Car shit
Went to get the car, and before I went in to talk business with the guy, I checked it over really good, and I find out the headlights dont work. Actually, just the regular low beams. High beams are just fine. But you flip the dial to lights without highbeams, and nothing, except for some little side lights inside the light housing. The lights seem to be aftermarket. They look good, they just arent wired right, or theres a blown fuse, or something.
Either way, I was leary of taking it right then, because I didnt want to drive back to Oakdale with high beams only, and I wasnt sure if it was indicative of a more extensive electrical problem...I mean, I dont think the heated seats worked either, but then again, could be a fuse, could be not waiting long enough for them to warm, I dont know. Overall, the car is nice, a steal for the mileage, but I dont want to rush it. They said they would have their guy look it over and then they would give me a call. I'll then go there one day this week to pick it up.
Fuck I cant wait, but its guarded optimism....things havent exactly gone smooth at all since the accident, on any front, period.
