This is lame...but...
it's driving me insane.
Back in the 80's...my mom had tons of the trashy paperback romance novels. Being bored a lot...I started reading them. I read quite a lot of them.
Now...I'm trying to remember the name of one set that I read...because it's driving me completely up the wall.
If any of you ever read romance novels in the 80's...please see if you can think of the name or author of this book.
It was about a woman named Stacy...I remember that because another character in the book asked her if it was short for Anastacia. Anyway - she dives into a swimming pool at a party and when she comes up from it...she's in a pond. She's has gone back in time to the old west.
From there it's pretty typical. She meets a man, falls in love, blah, blah, blah. I really want to find this book so it doesn't make me crazy.
I posted this to the community that was spotlighted this week here on LJ, and I figured as long as I was at it...I'd post it here. Because you just never know where you might find a closet romance novel fan.
So come on ... wealth of knowledge LJ land...help me out.

OMG. I found it. Someone else on a message board was looking for the same freaking book and I found her post and the answer. I can't believe it!
The author was June Lund Shiplett and the books were called Journey to yesterday and Return to Yesterday. I'm going to buy the damned books and read them again JUST BECAUSE.
