"Hey, I typically don’t do something like this, but I need help finding this dog a home. Kara was driving home yesterday afternoon and saw the car in front of her slow down, if you call 25 slow, and throw this dog out. She was a little banged up but more than anything, just scared out of her mind. After a bunch of coaxing, a lot of dog treats, and some help from some nearby construction workers, she was able to get her. We got her home and after a couple of bathes she seems a lot better. Really a great dog from what we can tell so far. She is still a puppy but probably around 5 months? I’d say she weighs around 25 to 30 lbs and won’t get more than 40 to 45 pounds. She is great around our two other dogs and she takes the abuse from our two cats (they seem to think she is their new play toy). She isn’t barking and hasn’t had an accident yet. She is a bit shy at first (I’m sure she was mistreated) but after she warms up to you she just wants some loving. Anyway, we are fostering a dog right now and with our dog, the foster, and two cats… we just don’t have room for a fifth. We don’t want to take her to the pound right now as they are overcrowded and she more than likely would be put down. Her coloring is beautiful and she looks to be a lab/hound mix. She definitely is a retriever… everytime I set something down she brings it back to me J. To be honest, she will make a really good pet. So, if you would like to save this little girl or know someone who could provide her with a loving home let us know soon, we will have to take her in to be put down on Monday. "
I have pictures but can't put them up from work. If you are interested, comment with your email address and I will send you the email with pictures.
