so i got accepted by the air force today after 4 months of putting through waivers for all the arrests i had while i was younger

but

im not going to join now
i have other things i want to do with my life
itd be nice if people could understand that

there are a lot of things i want to do
work, pay for college myself
do things the shitty way maybe
but i really enjoy my freedom

Yes, not having as much freedom as a civilian is a part of being in the military, but I mean, if you sign up for 4 years, it's only 4 years of not being able to protest/have threesomes/ and do other unscrupulous acts. I'd advise you to think hard about what you want to do because I'll preach this to whoever I meet.

I love being in the Air Force, and I'm glad I made this decision.

It sounds like you're doing well. It's been a VERY long time. Whatever choice you make, make sure you're truly happy with it because you don't wanna to regret it just a few months in.
