hells yeah
so today was LMEA competition for band and as it turns out, the basses had more equipment to deal with than percussion...which is weird.also, I own you all. guess why? today I walked in 3inch heels and a knee-length skirt up stairs carrying a bass, a large orange extension cord, a multi-plug extension cord, and an amp. oh and my purse. and i had been wearing the heels since 6:52 in the morning and didn't get to take them off until 2:30pm. needless to say I've been barefoot since I got home and walked with great pleasure through a large, cold, wet puddle after it rained here.
In other news, we're going to state with band. we got two I's and a II from the judges and a superior in sight reading. that's right. I'm now going to state for both choir and band. gawd the amounts of wiiiiin I possess. you are all supremely jeaulous.
