This is my thesis, transcribed thither on thresholds ethereal, for they throw to those whom I thank through thick and thin those things for which I would tithe them thricely on this most thriving day: Thanksgiving.
Jacob - To you, I thank for all the late nights, the dinners and talk, and the advice (both good and bad), simply because it was given in good faith. And, most of all, I thank for the friendship, which has endured despite the proverbial trils and tribulations, and has served to be one of my finest.
Allison - For staying with me, even though I gave you plenty of reasons not to, and for remaining my logical lighthouse in a sea of chaos.
Mason - I thank you for being the big, cuddly teddy bear that you are, and for always showing me that sometime, you need to learn a different way to handle things.
Albert - Thanks for always keeping things in perspective, even the things I didn't think I could look at. Your humor has warmed my house, and it's a better place for it.
Ty - Because you showed me, time and time again, that the rules were made to be broken... and that was one of the greatest lessons I learned this year.
Kelvin - For living with me, and everything that entails, and for always being cool about the things that didn't matter, and adamant about the things that did.
Laura Sako - Thanks for showing me that there's no hurdle life can throw at you that can't be jumped with a little support, and a lot of love. You love deeper and stronger than most people ever see, and it rubs off on everyone that knows you.
Emily - No matter what has happened, you have always been a positive influence in my life, not only this year, but in all the years I've known you. You've helped show me that I don't need to stay down as long as I thought I did, and that there are always people willing to help, and willing to give you a laugh when you need it most.
Ryan - You showed me that my home was home to far more people than myself, and somehow, I think you realized how important that was to me. In addition, I thank you for showing me the value of a little quiet time to think about myself.
Susan - For showing me that sometimes, wacky was better, and that there was a fun way to do it.
Thomas - Thanks for still being there, even though the world gave you plenty of reasons not to. You remain one of my oldest friends, and I'm still not sure you understand how much that means to me.
Tim - I thank you for teaching me how to put the most obscure and strange things into a logical context, and for teaching me that when reality is stripped away, all we have is faith.
Cliff - For taking care of Anna, and for walking through the front door of my apartment. It would have been worse off without you.
Anna - You, I thank simply for being yourself. You're wonderful, and one of my most uplifting friends in the years I've known you. And, no matter how much of an idiot I've been, you've always been right next to me, showing me that no fall is too far to be lifted back up from.
My Loving Angel - Everything. God, I don't want to even think about where I might be without you... and thanks to you, I never have to. You have been the legs that I stand on, and the wings that pull me out of the darkest pits of my psyche. You have been the moonlight that illuminated my path in the dark, and the presence that always went with me wherever I went, so that I was never alone. And, most importantly of all, you loved me, and there is no greater gift that can be bestowed upon another person. I love you very much.
Thank you all very much. Happy Thanksgiving!
