Ha wow, I've loved the cover version for a long time, but never realized it was a cover! Glad you posted these.

I just found out it was a cover today. Hearing the 2 back to back made me smile. He did such a good job covering an awesome song.

Yeah, I didn't know they were covers at first either. That little list of related videos on You Tube can be very educational sometimes.

let me add a few more versions to the mix (mp3s not videos):

No idea who this guy is, but it's apparently a cover (haven't listened to it yet): Marco Benevento - Heartbeats

This one is a very different take from the others. Quoting the blog that I took it from: "Scala are a 60-member Belgian girls choir. Here, augmented by the musicianship of the Kolacny Brothers, they take on The Knife's 'Heartbeats' stripping back the electronics and letting the melodies soar over a simple piano part."
