I can't stand it when people say to me (post-missions status)...
"wow... I can't believe you said/did that. I thought you went on missions.. I thought you're supposed to be all 'holy' now, but you seem exactly the same."
or something of that extent. Okay maybe I inserted the last sentence for dramatic effect but I know that is what they're thinking in their heads.
You know what though? Going on missions doesn't make you a new person (or maybe it does to some people, but most likely that is not the case)... And sorry to say, but I'm still the same sinful person I was before I left. God has shown me many things and I did learn a lot, but deep down, I am still human. So yeah, I do still curse when I get mad and no, I don't read the bible everyday. I am still in the process of being spiritually formed so dont assume that I'm the perfect little CHristian girl because I'm far from it.
