As much Family Guy hype there was these past few years, I cannot deny my roots: The Simpsons. I grew up with that show and it has become the landmark of my childhood (along with Married with Children..)
As someone said, Family Guy might be freaking hilarious, but Simpsons has heart.
I will never forget the episode where Lisa and Bart are on rival teams for a hockey league, and their bitter competition ends in a heartwarming reconciliation... I remember actually tearing up in that episode. Or that monumental episode of who killed mr. burns. Now that's a classic with a satisfactory ending. Help me Jebus! and Michael Jackson. Yvan eht nioj, and Homer's time capsule. See my vest! and Duffland. The Jazzman episode. the Halloween specials. oh the memories...
