Subway No more
Well since everyone else has nothing but sad or bad news or just general unhappiness going on in their journals I suppose i'll have to go the other route (You fuckers are stealing my thing, Knock it off) Of course the subject of this should come as no surprise to the 3 of you who might read this but still, Subway no more. After some discussion and much shenanigans the upper management and I decided it would be best if we parted ways. I didn't get fired or quit i just left. I now work back at the Casino where i used to work at like 4 years ago (and mikee still does) As a Security Officer. No More Food Service!! Never again!!! I'll live on the streets before i go back! My new job pays a little better (not much) then being an assistant manager with 3 1/2 years experience And comes with fewer responsibilities. Basically I walk around and make sure nothing is going on And should i find something going on i generally call Someone Else over to take care of it. Additionally I unlock things and watch the door. Aside from some money escorting duties, that's it. no making food, no having to clean anything up no need to make sure other people did their job (or do it myself) to cover my ass. A customer says something dumb and i can just nod and say "yeah that'll happen" I control nothing revenue related so there is no point in even trying to talk to me about it. In short I'm actually happy with my job and can't really see anything that would change that. But don't worry that the world is coming to an end or something. As I'M happy with my job it just means I'll find some way to make myself miserable outside of work (calm down I'm aware of the status quo) At any rate i do Plan to post more here I just have not gotten around to in a timely fashion. Just the other day i was gonna come on and talk about how angry some ice cream Mikee bought made me feel but then i think something shiny (or naked, stupid internet!) Distracted me. I Mean come on the ingredient list reads #1 skim milk, #2 CREAM!!!!! What the fuck IS that? Why not just use whole milk?? why pretend???? Lousy girl scout ice cream pisses me off!!!
