I got my hands on Psychonauts for the first time recently, it's an excellent game, worthy of it's heritage.
Tim Schafer is a gaming god to me, he made some of the best adventure games I've ever played, Secret of Monkey Island, Monkey Island 2, Day of the Tentacle, Full Throttle.. I sadly missed out on Grim Fandango until now, but I'm currently rectifying that(downloading).
I highly recommend anything he's ever had a hand in, if you're a gamer. He has a way with making games that leaves all the right pieces up to your imagination, which in my mind enhances the game in ways immeasurable.
There's another game made by LucasArts that he didn't have a hand in(to my knowledge, though he was working there around the same time), my favorite game of all time,
Loom. If you haven't played it, you should, though the graphics are a bit dated by .. oh .. 17 years. It's probably got a bittorrent floating around somewhere, or is on somebody's abandonware site. Best concept for a game, evar.
