Cassanova

Last Friday I saw the movie Cassanova. I think all men see themselves at one time or another as him. We all want to believe there is a little Cassanova in us.

Men's sexual ego's tend to be bigger than their penis, no matter the size.

It's just as fragile as the testicles that hang from them.

That's just the way we are. It's how we are wired. Those are expectations that get thrust upon us by the world we live in. A macho thing, maybe, or the expectation that the female orgasm is totally depended on us. We are the pleasure givers. It is the expectation, of him and her. The prettier the girl the more it is layed on our door step. After all if she is a beauty it could not possibly be her fault for the orgasmic consequences she may or may not experience. Must be a part of that "feminine mystique".

A man need not ask whether his performance met with satisfaction. I've never asked. I've found that if it were that good, she'd tell you on her own and if one is just average or abysmal she will keep her mouth shut about it. I've had it both ways, praise and silence. It's to be expected of course. There is not one special penis for each woman nor is there one particular cup size for every man. Compatiblity is the key, I think.

Of course, if she wants to, she can destroy you with a comment or inflate your personal self worth with the right word. That is the danger of asking "Was it good for you"? Which is why I care not to ask. I'm male and I'm fragile. I know if it were that good she'd say and if it were bad she probably wouldn't say.

I'm an erection machine. Put a dime in the slot and watch me grow. Just the right look or pose will do it. No manipulation required. That's been the case every time save one. In that instance it was weariness and anxiety. Here is where the female ego comes in. A man's none response to her naughtyness is taken by her as you not seeing her as sexy. Women, that's not it. Sometimes it's just the wrong circumstance where the moon and the stars have all gone out of alignment. We think you are sexy, or we wouldn't be there.

The Cassanova syndrome, I suppose that is what you might call all of this. All guys want to be like him and every woman wants to bed him. We all are Cassanova's, but not for every woman. If we are lucky, at sometime in our lives we will find a woman who see's us as their Don Juan, the man who's touch is magical and words always sublime.

May you find your Cassanova and may she see you as such!
