Lisa Turpin and Mandy Brocklehurst are embarrassing each other by announcing the crushes of each other. They are Ravenclaws, too. Only a year older than me, you know. It's rather sad, isn't it? I hope I don’t grow embarrassing too soon. Daddy says I won’t because mum never did. I asked him if he had a crush on mum. He said he crushed, and he crashed, and then he burned. I suppose I'll understand what he meant when I'm embarassing next year.
