I'm living in Stone-Davis next year. I have mixed feelings about this.
PROS:
One of the nicest dorms on campus
Recently renovated
GREAT dining hall
HUGE sophomore doubles
Views overlooking the lake
Marina is an RA there next year
Near the library/Academic Quad
CONS:
Everyone else is in Pom
The new student center/theater/gym/Shakes house is far away
Long-ass walk to the Ville
I WANTED THE FRIGGIN QUAD!!!!!
Summary? Fabulous dorm, lousy location. Oh well. I suppose its better than being unhoused, as some people are. And I'm happy I'll get to be with Marina.
