its been awhile
So I never post here anymore, guess it doesn't carry as much importance as it once did. I have gotten a new computer and my laptop is still broken. I went to the allergy doctor today and he diagnosed me with nonallergic rhinitis. Which basically means I don't have any allergies, my sinuses just pretend like I do. There isn't a cure so I guess I will deal with it the rest of my life. I almost would rather have allergies that can be cured with shots. With this he pretty much gave me medicine when I start to feel symptoms. I had to get bloodwork done because he said it may be because my body isn't producing antibodies, or it may just be because the lining of my sinuses swells and causes an allergic type reaction but its not a sinus problem, actually a problem with the lining and the cause is unknown. They just know some things can trigger it like strong smells or cold weather. I also got tested for strep for like the 10th time in my life and again it was negative. The real reason I wanted to post however...I think I'm getting laid off. Kinda crazy. Never could have expected that. The old FoodMax by Northport Diner is closing April 7th, and their employees are going to combine with our employees, and they are keeping the ones with the most senority. So basically a whole store's worth of employees is gonna lose their job. And since I only have 1.5 years senority(I quit to go to Bruno's for a semester and then quit Bruno's to go to Spain or I would have 4.5) my job is in pretty serious jeopardy. I have heard almost anyone with less than 5 or 6 years will be gone, so that means all the high school students and a few people who have been there longer than me. I have already started looking for another job in expectation. I think I am going to apply at Target sometime this week. I would like to get an on-campus job or a job with Spanish. Anyway, if anyone has any ideas let me know. Maybe I will come out on the good end anyway.
