(no subject)
I love kids!! I had a great time baby-sitting last night. Things definitely didn't go smoothly the entire night, but it was fun. But I survived 3 boys-5 months, 2 years and 4 years. The baby wasn't too hard, although he did cry some. Then the other two took all the pizza from the box and piled in on their plates, not leaving any for me. =) The couch was completely dismantled (well just the cushions). Bath time was always a joy. =) Then the boys spit water all over the floor after I put them to bed. Also they tried to manipulate me by saying they were supposed to have ice cream after their pizza. But they also told me that they had fun playing with me.
After baby-sitting I went over to a friends and they were having an ice cream party. I got to see alot of people I haven't seen since WEC. I had alot of fun. And one things I like about DTS is there are always new people to meet.
I got my hair cut today and she cut it too short, but it's just hair and it grows. =) I've gotten a little bit of reading done and went out to run errands. I am baby-sitting tonight too.
I'm not sure what exactly I"m going to do tomorrow. I have a few options of what to do but I don't know what I want to do. I wanted to spend the afternoon watching the Passion but I tried 4 different places today and couldn't find it. I miss my family. This doesn't happen often but I really wish I could be with them. There were a couple times in college that I drove to my mom's after church. But I can't so much do that living here in Dallas. Or I would spend Easter at Scott and Penny's. And sometimes being around other families just makes me miss mine more or makes me sad b/c it just reminds me of the brokeness of my family so even though people's intentions are good for me it's just counter-productive. I'm going to call my mom tomorrow and maybe talked to her about me coming to visit before I go to Russia and after I get back. Since she would be paying for me coming or at least part of me coming I don't think she would tell me I could only come before or only come after.
Well I'm going to take a quick shower before I go baby-sit.
