Epiphany: Old people drink less. Not because their kidneys can't handle the booze, but rather because they can't handle the depression that ensues afterwards.
I'm momentarily bummed. Somehow being old magnifies every little problem. When you're 18, you can just shrug and say "fuck, I have time work shit out". This attitude wanes as you feel the doors of opportunity swing closed.
But hey, maybe it's just a glass half full/half empty kinda thing. I would certainly think differently if the milk was in the top half and not the bottom...
