I lost so many rounds in debate because I started talking about how stupid my opponents were when they went off topic.

Ah, how I love my roommates!
Other than that I have apparently become a true student here, according to the very smart, funny, adorable astrophysics senior. I was talking about how the other day I just decided " I don't care if I have 100 pages of reading, a paper and a pset due tomorrow, it is more important to me to sit here and listen and talk with my classmates" or "to listen to Daniel Bareboim/David Liu lecture on music and its potential in politics/DNA technologies and the process of artificial DNA synthesis".
Writing on Livej also counts as a inefficient yet meaningful activity.
Oh and I just have to brag that the Dresden Dolls are coming to Harvard. And the Barenaked Ladies were just here last weekend.

Tomorrow night there is Evening With Champions, which is a show put on by one of the upperclassmen houses every year where they invite world famous ice skaters to put on a show for charity. All the proceeds go to the Jimmy Fund, benefitting cancer research. One of my roommates is a skater liason and got to meet tons of these famous skaters. I've bought my ticket this afternoon and I'm going together with 2 of my roommates. It is going to be FANTASTIC. Paul Wylie will be the host and Emily Hughes, Oksana Baiul, etc. will be performing. Also one of the Russian skaters is supposed to be very cute.
