I have a bandaid, covered by a white gauze pad, and wrapped by green medical tape on right arm. It's my badge of honor. BECAUSE I was able to donate blood. After many doctors and my mom ( whot is not a doctor but a nurse who thinks she knows everything) have told me that I'm anemic because of my vegetarianism and really need to start eating meat again because my iron levels are probably too low. But they aren't because I was unable to donate blood! And it only took like 5 minutes. My bag filled up quickly and they found my vein right away. They did have to prick two different fingers because the first finger clotted up before they had enough blood in the tube to test my iron levels but oeverall the blodd donation process went well. In fact, my day was overall good. Two of my classes were cancelled. Fisher brought his daughter in today because she wasn't feeling well this morning so he didn't send her two school. They were so cute together! She seemed like she was seven or eight and she would tease him or interrupt him and he would joke around with her. Adorable. After donating blood, I came home and laid down because I felt dizzy because I decided to speed walk home and didn't sit down and rest like they tell you to. Then I tried on the formal dresses that Steph brough me from Indy. I picked a red strapless one. I think I'm getting more excited about formal even though I'm a horrible dancer. But I'm going with my friend Austin and he's so fun, so it should be ok. And on midnight on Saturday, I turn 21!!!!!!! Finally!!!! Except that I'm afraid that my birthday is going to be completely jank because all of the Pi Phi's who are 21 are going to drink at formal and won't want to go out afterwards, and all of the 21 year old NC people will be at Midnight Mass. So I'm hoping it will be fun. I feel kind of guilty for skipping Midnight Mass to celebrate my birthday, but I only turn 21 once! And I read J-Fry's livejournal and she is definitely involved in more than me, so I think that I'm being a slacker and I need to get more involved!
